Unison's core business is built on working with clear, vertical-grain Douglas Fir, from BC's Pacific Northwest and has expanded to incorporate a variety of exotic wood species. We select only the finest material from *forest certified suppliers ensuring that each Unison product originates from sustainably managed forests.
Our projects have featured wood species such as: Indiana Black Walnut, Mahogany, Teak, Ipe, Alder, Cherry, Oak, Pine and Yellow Cedar. Windows & door components are typically milled from one solid piece, with the option of laminating exotic hardwoods over solid block-board cores.
