This oceanfront retreat home on Galliano Island, designed by architect Allan Diamond, features a full range of solid Douglas Fir windows and doors that complement the coastal rainforest surrounding the structure. Rake windows in each peak allow light to flood in, while large lift and slide units open the dwelling to pristine. A natural wood stain system showcases the beauty of British Columbia's Coastal Fir and protects from high wind/rain conditions.
