black walnut featured residence in vancouver, bc 2008

Unison engineered and manufactured these solid Black Walnut window and door systems for a primary residence in Vancouver, designed by architect Allan Peters. Massive 10-ft tall bi-folding units allow entire walls to float aside and frame dramatic views. A 5-part stain and lacquer system brought out a rich furniture-quality finish with exterior durability that can withstand coastal weather conditions.
